29, Germany (Leipzig)

I studied education because I wanted to know more about socialization and pedagogy. Thereafter I was keen to learn more about a wider ‘cultural’ perspective and I studied Culture and Media Education in Germany. Meanwhile I gained a lot of experiences working with children and youth from different backgrounds in formal and informal settings. My personal fields of interest is civil education, migration and the effects for a society, intercultural education, integration respectively inclusion and dealing with xenophobia and prejudices. This is particularly the reason why I chose and now working with OFD within a LEONARDO internship. I want to work in a field where I can encourage a thinking of diversity and create awareness.

Inclusion and accesability are basic pillars of everyday democracy. (Michael Briguglio – Sociologist, Politician, Activist)
